Who We Are

We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers who use methods from neuroscience, psychology, medical research, bioengineering, and behavioral genetics to study memory formation and memory loss in the human brain.

Our Goals
  • Increase understanding of how the human brain creates and stores new memories.
  • Develop better ways to diagnose and treat memory disorders in people with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological and psychiatric disorders.
  • Train postdoctoral, graduate and undergraduate students for careers in neuroscience and biomedical research.
  • Communicate the latest findings on memory research to the general public.
